No Joke - It's All About Your Mindset

In the last two days I've had lunch with a group of three highly successful businesspeople, then breakfast with another group of highly successful folks, and finally a short hour ago -  a lucky encounter with yet another guy who is thriving and growing during these "tough and difficult" times.

Each conversation had a moment just like this...where I'd ask "how's business for you?"

Answer was always the same.

"Business is great.  We're growing while our competition sits on the sideline complaining.  It's all about having the right mindset."

I couldn't have been happier to hear it.  Three times in less
than 24 hours makes it a pattern.   A good pattern indeed.

Times like these are a blessing, because they help us realize what really works and what really doesn't.  Hear me or not, but if you don't get this right, the joke is on you:

It really is all about your mindset. 

Without having your head in the right place, tough times can eat you and your business alive. 

I just heard of one company who had been around building homes in a mountain community for over 30 years.  Gone.  They weren't prepared, which means their head wasn't in the right place.

Where are your thoughts?   Are you focusing on delivering more
value, being more efficient, and serving your customers at a higher level?

Or are you worried about not making it through the next month?

How you answer is the key to your success. 

It's up to you.  It's up to me.  It's up to each of us.
